Dr. Jonathan Plehn is a staff physician at the Cardiovascular
Branch of the National, Heart, Lung and Blood Institute, National
Institutes of Health. His primary interest lies in the development
of quantitative imaging modalities for the diagnosis and therapeutic
assessment of patients with congestive heart failure. He was
previously director of the echocardiography laboratories at
Boston City Hospital, the Framingham Heart Study and Dartmouth-Hitchcock
Medical Center. He has been director of the
Congestive Heart Failure Program at the National Naval Medical
Center in Bethesda and will be moving in the fall to GW Hospital
to direct the new Congestive Heart Failure Service.
