Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering
Director, Robotics and Mechatronics Laboratory
Dr. Ben-Tzvi received his B.S. degree in mechanical engineering (Summa Cum Laude) from the Technion –
Israel Institute of Technology, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Toronto, both
in mechanical engineering. From 2000 to 2002, he was employed by General Electric Medical Systems,
where he worked mainly on the design, analysis, development and integration of medical diagnostic
robotic systems. Dr. Ben-Tzvi is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Mechanical
