Controlled Cell Motion Under Plasma Treatment

Interaction of cold plasma jet with living tissue will be investigated. Our previous work demonstrated a new and promising effect of cold plasma jets, namely, controlling cell migration. It was shown that this effect can be achieved without thermally damaging the tissue. We propose to investigate several new effects associated with plasma cell interactions, such as directional cell motion and the possibility of the increase of the cell migration velocity.
