The Symposium on Biomedical Engineering and Computing will showcase the best in interdisciplinary research going on at GW in engineering, science, and medicine focused on biomedical engineering and biomedical computing. The symposium will also feature speakers from key federal programs that sponsor research in biomedical engineering/computing. The welcoming remarks will be given by President Knapp. A poster session will feature a variety of research being conducted at GW by faculty and students. This is the first such symposium at GW geared toward promoting intellectual exchange among the biomedical engineering/computing and medical communities. The objective of the Symposium is to explore common grounds for fruitful collaborative activities that cut across discipline boundaries.

The symposium is free and open to all faculty, staff, and students from GW as well as other local educational institutions, local industry, and federal labs and agencies.
